The popular Summer Family Fun Festival returns with a week of creative activities to spark imaginations during the summer holidays including National Playday. The Café will be serving family-friendly options for appetites of all sizes with ice creams to keep cool on hotter days. Many events are free drop-in sessions; please check individual events for details. Free events will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Gallery Explorers
Wed 2 Aug, 11.00am – 11.40am
Inspire imaginations and improve literacy in our Mini Gallery Explorer sessions where you discover the artwork and history on display with interactive stories, rhymes and creative crafts with our team. This session is a one off special and will be based in our Sophie Ryder All of Us exhibition so that you can explore the animals and myths on display. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis at Reception from 10.30am on the day. For under 8 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
